All color belt 10 Basic Movement
The purpose of the 10 Basic Movements is to help students understand fundamental Taekwondo hand techniques along with proper stances, while learning self-defense. Through training, students develop concentration and confidence as they build a strong foundation in Taekwondo.
Please note that the speed and power in the '10 Basic Movements' video are reduced to help you understand the mechanics. When practicing, try to execute the movements with more speed and power!
White belt 10 Basic Movement is designed to help students understand the Low Block, Middle Block, and High Block.
Yellow Belt 10 Basic Movements curriculum is designed to help you understand the Low Block, Middle Block, Outer Wrist Middle Block, and High Block.
Orange Belt 10 Basic Movements curriculum is designed to help you understand the Long Stance along with the Low Block, Middle Block, Outer Wrist Middle Block, and High Block.
Green Belt 10 Basic Movements curriculum is designed to help you understand open-hand techniques by modifying basic blocks—such as the Low Block, Middle Block, Outer Wrist Middle Block, and High Block—into Knife Hand blocks. Additionally, a new posture, the Back Stance, is introduced.
Purple Belt 10 Basic Movements introduce new two-handed techniques. Practiced in the Back Stance, these include the Double Knife Hand Low Block, Double Knife Hand Middle Block, Palm-Down Block with Spear Finger Strike, and Swallow-shape Knife Hand Neck Strike.
Blue Belt 10 Basic Movements stage reinforces your understanding of two-handed techniques. Practiced alongside the Back Stance, it features the Double Knife Hand Low Block and Double Knife Hand Middle Block, followed by new techniques: the Back Fist Strike and Target Elbow Strike.
Brown Belt 10 Basic Movements stage focuses on rapidly transitioning your stance using hip rotation once basic movements are fully mastered. In this phase, you will learn new techniques: Outer Wrist High Block, Low Wedge Block, and Single Knife Hand High Block.
Red Belt 10 Basic Movements curriculum aims to refine and elevate core techniques. Students will study and understand new advanced forms: the Double Palm Middle Block, Scissor Block, X-Low Block, and X-High Block.
As the final color belt stage, the Jr. Black Belt 10 Basic Movements phase builds upon a solid mastery of fundamental techniques. In this stage, students learn and understand new advanced moves: the Double Fist Low Block, Double Fist Middle Block, Single Mountain Block, and Grab Upper Strike.
